Ellie is homozygous for the roan gene which means that she is guaranteed to have a roan foal. Daario is homozygous black which means that Ellie's roan foal will be BLUE ROAN (no bay [agouti] or grey gene in either parent). Ellie is 15.3 hands and Daario is 16.2 so this foal will have it all - beautiful color, conformation, and flashy. And, since both parents are super sweet, this foal should be doubly sweet. What an exciting combination!

Tall Blue Margarita (Rita) is a 16 hand blue roan Percheron/Quarter Horse cross mare that is confirmed in foal to Daario for July, 2022. She is super sweet and easy to train - in addition to being gorgeous! - so this foal will be special. Rita is still growing so I anticipate that she will mature at the same height as Daario ~16.1 which means that their foal will likely be that height at maturity. Looks . . . size . . . brains . . . and sweet disposition - what more could you ask for?
