His offspring have been outstanding with the highest ever ABFP test scores and two offspring from his first crop became approved stallions! Ulbran is the sire of Ember and Xandra's 2024 foals and is the sire of Xandra's upcoming 2025 foal.

Sampson is a dream come true for Prairie Wind Pearls. We produced several blue roan Friesian crosses in 2004-2012 and, admittedly, they were our favorite. There is something about seeing that roan color peak through the brown foal hair during the first shed that is like opening a highly anticipated gift. We put that passion on hold while relocating to our current location a few years ago, but that passion would not lay dormant for long. We searched and waited for just the right colt to rebuild our dream of producing beautiful blue roan Friesian crosses again. Sampson is 75% Friesian/25% Percheron, PSSM negative, true blue roan and is expected to mature at 17 hands. We have chosen three blue roan Friesian cross mares to breed to Sampson in the future and may decide to offer him on a limited basis to a few outside mares.
